To insert your signature in gmail:
- In the upper right hand corner of your inbox,
click on the "Settings" icon to open the
settings menu. The icon looks like a gear
().
- Click on the entry "Settings".
- You should be on the "General" tab.
- Scroll about half way down to the Signature
block. Select your account.
- Copy the formatted signature block above
into the text editor that appears.
- Scroll to the bottom and click "Save".
To insert your signature in Microsoft Outlook:
- Launch Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 on your computer.
- Click "File" in the top left corner of the Outlook window
and select "Options" from the drop-down menu.
The Outlook Options window pops up.
- Click "Mail" in the left navigation pane. The
mail options are displayed in the right pane.
- Select "HTML" in the Compose Messages drop-down menu
to ensure your messages use HTML elements.
- Click the "Signatures" button and the "Signatures and
Stationery" window pops up.
- Click the "New" button, and type a name in the New Signature
prompt and click "OK." A new signature is created and you
can edit it in the text box at the bottom of the window.
- Copy the formatted signature block above
into the text editor.
- Click the "Save" button to create the HTML email signature.
- Click "OK" to close the "Signatures and Stationery" window.
